Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I take the time to supply split-for-colour proofs with my printing project?

Not all software has the provision to run colour separations. If you are unable to run colour splits to your laser printer then this is the case, and you will have to allow extra time for us to work some magic in order to produce film for your project.

It is also a way for you to check to be sure that all the colours used in your document will separate the way you anticipate. A common occurrence is when a Pantone colour has been specified in Illustrator as a CV and the same colour number is used in the Quark document as a CVC. The number (i.e. Pantone 300) may be the same, but they will come out on two separate plates. When you compare the cost of a laser print to extra film, your time spent is a bargain.
